The Fubuki 73 Wood Shaft is the latest example of precision engineering achieved by controlling every step of the design and manufacturing process. In development for over two years, the "Blizzard", or Fubuki in Japanese, has been conceived by today's most demanding engineers for today's most demanding players. Using technology called MDT (Modulus Differential Technology) fibers with different responsiveness characteristics that typically do not go together can be joined and blended in extremely precise ways. By applying MDT technology in pinpoint locations along the shaft, it creates unparalleled performance in a range of shaft profiles. The Fubuki Tour shaft was first released in the prototype stage on the PGA Tour early in 2008. In 2008 it registered wins on the PGA Tour and European PGA Tour and has found its way into the bags of some of today's most demanding players.
